OVERVIEW
Kent Group successfully delivered the East Midlands PSP Renewalsproject in collaboration with the Network Rail East Midlands E&P Route Engineering team.
Delivered over a two-year period from contract award through to final entry into service, the programme involved the turnkey renewal of three critical Principal Supply Point (PSP) sites across the East Midlands route:
Uttoxeter–30kVA UPS / 88kVA Generator
Market Harborough–40kVA UPS / 88kVA Generator
Syston–80kVA UPS / 145kVA Generator
The project formed part of Network Rail’s CP6 renewals work bank, with the objective of improving the long-term reliability, resilience and maintainability of critical signalling power infrastructure.

THE SOLUTION
Kent Group delivered a complete turnkey solution encompassing civil, electrical and signalling design, procurement, in-house manufacture of Principal Supply Points, site clearance, foundations, compound construction, DNO coordination, installation, testing and final commissioning. By integrating every discipline within one delivery team, the programme achieved safe, efficient delivery while maintaining operational railway performance.
