Kent PHK has recently completed the installation of one of Network Rail's newest autonomous drone facilities — only the third of its kind on the rail network and the first in Scotland.
Designed to provide rapid, remote access to critical infrastructure, the system allows drones to be deployed and operated from a control centre in Southampton, delivering real-time aerial intelligence when and where it's needed most.
From monitoring infrastructure conditions to supporting incident response and emergency services, autonomous drone technology is changing the way rail assets are inspected and managed.
We were proud to be trusted once again to deliver the secure compound infrastructure and power supply that enables this innovative technology to operate safely and effectively.
A great example of how technology, automation, and infrastructure are coming together to create a smarter, more resilient railway.
